Daniel Officially Declares Candidacy for House District 52
Georgetown, Texas – Today Georgetown small businessman Bryan Daniel officially began his campaign to increase border security, rein in out-of-control government spending, and provide a financially sound, forward-thinking transportation system by announcing his run for District 52 State Representative.
“My family and I are very excited about this opportunity, and we are enormously grateful for the support we have received at this early stage in the campaign,” Daniel said. “Texas needs fresh ideas in the Legislature, and I feel I can contribute to the change we all desire.”
Daniel is currently the Vice President for Business Development and a member of the Board of Directors for Agricultural Workers Mutual Auto Insurance. Prior to this position, Daniel led the USDA’s economic development efforts in Texas where he learned firsthand how to improve the economy by creating an environment that enhances businesses and helps them grow and succeed.
“Texas currently faces many challenges like illegal immigration, skyrocketing government spending, and transportation and education systems that are in need of improvement. If elected, I pledge to work day-in and day-out on these issues until we reach positive outcomes,” Daniel stated. “Williamson County is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. This high growth rate brings many opportunities. I pledge to be a representative who always listens to the needs of the entire district as we seek win-win solutions for our many growing communities. I know that with innovative thought and hard work there is nothing Texans can’t accomplish,” he concluded.
In his past positions, Daniel has proven to be diligent and successful. He recently earned the Distinguished Service Award from the Texas Forest Country Partnership, as well as the Outstanding Young Agriculturist Award. Additionally, Daniel’s alma mater, Texas Tech University, appointed him to their Advisory Board, and he serves on the Georgetown Future Farmers of America Advisory Board.
Daniel and his wife, Tamara, have two daughters, Emily and Elizabeth, and the Daniels are members of the First Baptist Church of Georgetown.
